May 25 Rose update… She has settled into her fur-ever home!! She loves her walks! Especially when she gets to explore on her 20’ long leash! Rosa loves food! She is slowly gaining weight and is no longer skin and bones. Rosa is very attached to her foster brother and they would play all day every day if they could. She loves wrestling and tugging and chasing. She will fetch a few times but still tires easily. She follows us all around the house and is so happy relaxing on the couch and watching tv. She sleeps through the night and would be happy to sleep in if her foster brother didn’t wake every up. Her wound on her right hind leg is completely healed but is has huge scars and does not have hair growing back yet. Her left hind food is almost healed, but she does have some tendon damage and while it is getting stronger she will frequently carry it if she is running. Her foot is not normal, the toes are different sizes and splayed out. She is healthy and a very happy girl. Rosa is thriving living in a home and has so much love to give!!”
